ReccePhreak
I have been working on my ICM 1/72 Ki-21-1b Sally for awhile, and I noticed that the plastic reacts strongly to my normal plastic cement - Testors Liquid Cement. When I brush on the cement and press the "seams" together, I get a lot of "melted" gray plastic ooze out. I am wondering if the Testors Cement is too "hot" for the ICM plastic. I don't use super glue, except for adding PE parts, but I also have bottles of Tamiya Cement, Tamiya Extra Thin Cement & Mr. Cement S (Mr. Hobby). Any suggestions for a "less aggressive" cement to use on ICM kits? Larry
caudleryan
I have found ICM's plastic pretty soft. Tamiya extra thin has worked well for me and it's pretty much the only glue I use for their kits

Was it the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement, or the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement - Quick Setting? Larry Edited May 1, 2023 by ReccePhreak Reworded post
caudleryan
Both should work equally well.
