Timmins Posted November 19, 2023 Share Posted November 19, 2023 After 40 years of modeling I finally did it! I sprayed some flat clear on my helicopter clear parts and frosted them all! Are there ways Ora solution I can use to take the flat finish off or will I have to sand it off? Any suggestions will be very appreciated! Thank You Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If you used a hot clear coat like lacquer, the plastic will be etched and might not be salvageable, If it was an acrylic clear, you might be able to save it with either the brand thinner or with some 91% Alcohol using a Q-tip to cut thru it. You could also try to brush on some gloss clear or Future (or whatever it's called these days) on it to see if that will help. If all else fails, sanding and polishing would be your next option or replace the canopy. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
