I watched the video last night and it helped immensely. Thank you for creating it. I was never thinning the paint enough. I painted this 1/56 Gaming Tiger II last night to test out your suggestions and was light SOB!!! -
The other option to storing them is selling some on eBay, heck, you might make some money for more kits. 🙂

I most likely will give in at some point and get one, it was just when you watch and read some of the build blogs, makes you wonder if you actually want to tackle it. But at least people are building them, so it has to be doable.

I watched a couple of Youtube build video's on the P-8 Poseidon, and it looks like its a challenging kit. I was planning on getting one, but now I am not so sure.

Thanks, great information. Looks like the Airfix kit is the best on for an accurate orbitor. -
1/144 Space Shuttle - best kit?
Robert Garelli replied to Robert Garelli's topic in Real Space Modeling
Hi Crowe, I did read your build review. I just purchased the old Revell 1/144 747 w Shuttle, and looking to replace the shuttle on it for something better. My local hobby shop has the minicraft kit, so will pick it up. Robert -
Who makes the best 1/144 Space Shuttle, Revell or Minicraft?

That would be very cool, you should stick to that idea. I for one would love to see it.
-
I build almost anything, don't care for Gundam models or 1/700 scale ships and 1/32 cars. I mainly stick with 1/48 for aircraft, 1/35 for armor. 1/24-25 for cars and trucks and 1/350 or larger for ships and watercrafts as well as most SciFi. I will build 1/72 scale aircraft based on size, like the B-52 or B-36 and every once in awhile I will throw together a 1/72 scale piece of armor just because I want to build something fast.

That is really cool looking, great job on it.
