joscasle
hello! I already tried to contact phase hangar via email, but it could be that someone already knows the process to use these intakes on the Hasegawa F-15. There are NO instructions on the site and those that exist are for GWH and although similar, they are not the same at all and the installation for obvious reasons is not the same. Does anyone know what modifications need to be made since they are not intuitive at all?
jenshb
I created the CAD models for these so I can help. On the kit, remove the part of the intake shown on the KH side and thin the outer wall. Also, remove the square pad on the main wheel well. You may also need to chamfer or remove material from the forward part of the main wheel well (not shown hatched). You may also need to chamfer or thin the remaining part of the intake wall. https://imgur.com/mr9Klqf Parts in place. I recommend dryfitting the entire intake and then gluing the forward part of the intake duct to the kit intake and fuselage, then remove the rear intake. The intake is split where the grey external colour and white duct is, so fill, sand and paint. All parts should fit well and allow the fuselage to close properly. If it doesn't , remove material from the kit.
