deny1 Posted May 7 Share Posted May 7 Good evening, while browsing to find photos of the UH-1E US NAVY, I came across these photos which portray the helicopter in a light gray shade. Dutch Posted May 7 Share Posted May 7 Should be either Field Green or Engine Gray. Maybe just extremely faded as it sat in the sun at Pensacola? It started life as a USMC UH-1E, transferred to the Navy, converted to UH-1L, even doing duty at UNTPS. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Thanks for the reply, but not to question what you told me, but it seems strange to me that only the dark color fades while the writing and the yellow of the tail remains in the same shade.
