Guest Roque
Well, just got some Tamiya Smoke and Clear Yellow today for tinting an F-18 canopy. The thing is I don't have an airbrush, so was wondering if tinting can be performed without one. If it can, then how should I go abouts doing it? The thing is I don't want the tint to look too dark and only slightly yellowish. If anyone has any ideas on how to make the tint less dark, please tell me. Thanks in advance.. JohnG
Tint Future with food colouring to the desired colour, and dip the clear part in Future like you normally would.
Swanny
John is correct (pat on the back) however you may want to try some Tamiya Acrylic Gold instead of the yellow - just a suggestion.
Guest Roque
Well, just spent my money on the paints so I'll have to live with the tamiya paints <_< Is it possible to tint with tamiya clears and future though, or whats the problem with doing it?
