tiger331
Hello, I am just building a Hungarian Gripen in 1/72 and I must do my own decals - it is easy as these are just grey... But I need a scan of Hungarian AF patch (carried on tail above HuAF, 59 TFW sign and a Puma squadron patch, carried on the nose. Can anybody help? Thanks
GR74
Hello Tiger331. What you are looking for, actually, is the patch of the 59th TFW. For more details about the TFW and Kecskemét Air Base you can check out the following link: http://www.mh59.hu/rovatok/en/base/ As for the Hungarian Gripen decals, two Hungarian companies have already produced decals in 1/72: TOFF (www.toff.hu) and Hungarian Armour Decals (www.had.hu). However, both of them provide the coloured insignia as carried by the first production aircraft. The aircraft in service will carry the toned down one (http://www.jetfly.hu/rovatok/tipusok/jas39/felsegjel/) Good luck! Roland
GR74
It’s me again. I just checked my links and realized that the Gripen decal is not listed in the English section of the TOFF website. So if you want to see it you should get a Hungarian dictionary :) , or follow my instructions: click the Hungarian flag, then click â€Makettekâ€, then â€KiegészÃtők†/all of these are on the left/. After this, find â€Matricák†on top of the right side of the window, click and scroll down to the bottom. There you are. Best wishes, Roland

tiger331
Thanx a lot levixhu, it helps definitely. I found that there is very BAD resolution on the Air base web, the same as on the TOFF webside. Your Puma badge is of good help, but I still need the patch of the Base in similar resolution picture, can you help me? The Best could be the scan of the MiG-29 decal 1/72, where is everything what I need. I want to make Gripen "31" with toned down marking, which is not offered by TOFF. But as I do not have resources to make my own decals in grey colour, I am probably not able to finish it by 4. November, to take it for competition at Nymburk (CZ) on 5 November... hinds.spacek@post.cz http://mi-24.airspace.cz
