Black Box 1/32 F-15 Set

Hello everyone, does this set use any kit parts? Lets say someone had a trashed cockpit, would this kit replace everything?

Ryan, yes, you need to use some kit parts with the BB set. From the Tamiya kit, the BB instructions call out:

Part A3 (Pilot's Instrument Panel)[and, the center/upper panel box, which is not specifically mentioned by number, but is shown already attached to the IP in the ref to part A3]. Part F33, a small panel (annunciator lights?) which attaches to the right side of the WSO's Instrument Panel (included by Black Box). The only other detail parts called out by BB are the two conroller sticks for the WSO...Parts F34 & F35.

Unless you count the two forward fuselage halves, the nose gear well (Part D24), Part D25 (electronic gear from the open panel on the left fwd fuselage), and the various screws/nuts to hold the two fuselage halves together, that's it.

Which F-15 are you talking about, the F-15E or the F-15C? For the F-15C you use the IP coming, HUD frames and glass, and the large box at the top center of the IP.

Wow. Could have sworn I saw "F-15E" in there somewhere. Guess it was a hangover from other posts... :lol:

That's OK, the first answer over at LSP also assumed it was the F-15E pit. I guess the fighter Eagles are just unloved.
