mdlchiw
http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=RVHP7101 Is this kit well worth the price? I can't find any reviews on the net. Thanks,

Tailspin Turtle
Whoa - There may be some confusion here with other kits in other scales of other aircraft. I have the 1/72 RVHP FJ-3 kit which I'm assuming is basically the same as the FJ-2 (the -2 had a slightly less deep intake - different engine - but was essentially the same otherwise). Although I haven't built it, it looks very nice in the box. The fuselage halves match. The casting is very good. The cockpit consists of a tub, seat bucket, seat headrest (looks a bit off in shape), instrument panel, control stick, glare shield and ADF dome. The landing gear struts are metal, wheels resin, the gear door covers thin. The decals look great. Sturdy box, separate packing of decals, canopy (affixed to box lid to avoid crushing), and small parts. What's not to like? It's expensive but worth it. Some of the RVHP kits are a bit off in shape because of the drawings used, but they are quality resin kits.
