mbittner
Just thought I would put up a couple of "sneak peek" images of my just finished Olimp Pro Resin 1/72nd Curtiss P-1A. The full article will appear in the July Internet Modeler.
The Migrant
Looks great Matt, particularly since I'm guessing the pics are significantly larger than the actual model. So, without pre-empting your entire online article, is it a nice kit?
The Mikester
Excellent work Matt, I love those inter-war years biplanes. Edited June 30, 2006 by The Mikester
mbittner
Looks great Matt, particularly since I'm guessing the pics are significantly larger than the actual model. So, without pre-empting your entire online article, is it a nice kit? Thanks Mike and Mikester. Yes, overall it's a very nice kit. The level of detail is outstanding and I had no real fit issues. Sure, some seam work, but nothing out of the ordinary. I also have the LF P-1C, and like the detailing better on the Pro Resin kit. That doesn't mean the LF kit is a poor one - far from it - it's just the Pro Resin kit goes just a little "farther". Speaking of the P-1C, Mike Grant, what would you need from me to create decals for it? If you would rather, contact me direct: mbittner(at)internetmodeler.com. Thanks.
