ross blackford
:D A couple of Lakes to finish with today. The first is a Lake Buccaneer taken at the recent Lake Macquarie Maritime Festival. This is an annual festival held on Lake Macquarie to celebrate the Lake's maritime heritage. Flying boats were a part of that heritage during WW2. These shots were taken at the former RAAF Base Rathmines flying boat base. Unfortunately the only airworthy catalina in Australia wasn't able to make the weekend. This was a bit of a disappointment for me as I had driven about 35 minutes to get there. The second one is a Lake Renegade. , Ross.
