Not really finding any for sale anywhere. That's not much of a big deal though. If I order it from someone, they'll get it. My bigger question is aftermarket. I know there's alot out there. Is there a list somewhere of what can be bought for it? I recall seeing a complete resin interior somewhere. That I'll definatly grab! Thanks all!

Working on a Desert Storm era AH-1W. What would be the correct color for live HE warhead tip on the Hydra 70 rockets? IE, what color would be sticking out of the tubes? Thanks.
-
Sorry for the late reply. THe only thing I can't see that can be folded is the one part. You're basically taking a flat piece and folding up the sides to make a hex. Folding the first side isn't too bad, but the part is so small, folding the others can't be done...at least as far as I can tell.

I guess 1/32 would be too far off to be good enough for 1/35? If not, I think I'll just build the kit without the TOWS and wait for them to come out. Floyd? Chris?

I'm building the Academy AH-1W. I have the Eduard set that pretty much rebuilds the TOW tubes. However, I can't see where it's possible to bend the PE part to replicate the large hex on the end of the tube. Are they joking? Does anyway make a set of resin TOW tubes?

Awesome! Thank you, gentlemen.

Building the Academy kit as a Desert Storm bird. I'm actually picking it up again after a few years. It appears as though I had planned to put rocket pods on the inner pylons and Hellfires on one outer and TOWs on the other outer pylon. Did I dream this up? Or is this an accurate loadout?

I'm curious as well. Haven't heard anything else about this either. You out there, Mike?
-
Wow! Great references! Thanks!

Carefull. He's isn't the only ones that'll arrive at your doorstep!

Is it just me? Man they suck! For those who have the kit, I'm trying to figure out what's going on with the ordnance steps. Steps 97, 98 and 100. At first, I thought these three steps were three seprate loadouts. However, each step has varying degrees of mixture between the British aircraft and the German aircraft. Additionally, I'm trying to figure out what the deal is with steps 87 and 88. I guess the part in step 88 is a pylon that isn't being used. Ok, that's fine, but what's 87? Any help would be appreciated.

IS the Revell 1/32 Eurofighter already in the market?
Dana F replied to Nuno Andresen's topic in Jet Modeling
Thanks. Yea, after looking at alot of photos, I came to the conclusion that the piece Revell put in there was bogus. However, I've noted something else. Everything I've read says the trunking is light grey, yet every pic I've seen looks white to me. Again, am I missing something? -

Anyone have any pictures looking down the engine trunks? Revell has "something" that looks like engine faces without blades on this kit. Even stanger, they want you to paint it light grey. I can't help but think this is not the engine blades they are trying to depict. Any ideas? -
I think eduard uses nickle-coated brass. I know it's not stainless. You can solder them. You just have to rough the area up where you want it to stick and be sure to use flux-core solder. Be aware though: be sure you only rough up the area you want the solder to go. The solder will flow very easily anywhere it's been roughed up. Try this on some scrap PE before attempting.
