  1. I prefer to draw my own airliners decals, including those for windows and windshields. Minicraft offers a wide variety of 1/144 models, without windows holes.
  2. An advantage of almost every Minicraft airliner model (if not all), is that they don´t have those embarrasing windows holes on the fuselage. If planning to use "after the market" decals, which include fuselage windows, some extra work must be done just to fill those holes. In the past (middle of 80´s), manufacturers used to provide clear plastic parts to simulate the windows (ie Gold Wing´s B727-100 and B737-200), but the results where no so realistic. Actually the Airfix´s 1/144 McDonnel Douglas DC-10 includes clear plastic windows, which is not the standard for today´s models. R
  3. Hola a todos, Here is another fact: The stand gives the sensation of movement or flying of the model. The story for AIRLINER PROPELLERS vs Stands is quite different. You can display a propeller model on a stand, with the landing gear up or down, but the static propellers will give the sensation of an engine failure (it is a very uncommon situation to have all engines d
  4. Hi, I would appreciate if you can send information on where to acquire a Hawker Siddeley HS-748 and a Martin ?04 (either the 204 or the 404 version) model. A 1:144 scale or something near would be fine. Saludos, esteban
