I used Humbrol and Xtracolor paints as recomended by Ra'anan Weiss.Heres the colors: 30219 Dark Brown,Humbrol 118 with a small amount of Xtracolor X2 RAF Dark Earth added.33531 Tan Humbrol 121 straight from the tin.34424 Light green Xtracolor X7 RAF sky straight from the tin.36375 Grey Humbrol 127.The Radome is Humbrol 126 with 2 or 3 drops of Modelmaster 36118 added.All the paint was mixed 50/50 with Testors Glosscote and thinned with Modelmaster Thinner.HTH and thanks for looking...Mark

  4. I used the BlackBox pit and the Isracast conversion.The markings will be aircraft 503 of the Scorpion Squadron.

  6. The weapons are from Hasegawas set D.I plan on using the GBU-31 3/B BLU-109 from Shawn Hull when it is released.Thanks for looking..Mark
  7. Thanks for the comments.The panels were done with pre and post shading the lines were then highlighted with pencil. The load out will be 4 LGBs and a GBU-31 on the centerline.Its nice to finish one, the positive atitudes and posts on this forum are a big help to me.Thanks to all!!   13. Iwata all the way.It is the BMW of airbrushes.I could not beleive how easily I could spray fine lines with the Iwata compared to my VL. Mark

I took some MM 36118 in a large jar and added 1/3 Testors glosscote and 25 drops of semi-gloss white and thinned the mix with Testors thinner.I sprayed this mix over the pre-shaded model.I then took a small amount from this large bottle and added 5 more drops of white and used this on the insides of some of the panels.I then used 36118 right from the bottle for the dark highlights.Once this drys I will highlight some of the panel lines with a mechanical pencil.   19. I airbrushed the lighter color with Tamiya Flat alumininum then brush painted Tamiya Gunmetal on the darker areas.I then brush painted a thin coat of Dark grey artists gouache to highlight and give a flat finish that I had seen at an airshow.Thanks for looking..Mark
