  4. Thanks guys, checking it out now.
  5. I did a couple of searches here but didn't find what I was looking for, I'm looking for a source on getting the old flight manuals and TOs (not sure they called them TOs back then) for the Mustang. Schematics of the wiring and rigging of hydraulic and fuel lines. that sort of stuff. I picked up a 1:32 DML Mustang with the Big Ed set and would like to have my ducks in a row for any rivet counters. I know the Mustang is a oft done subject but I'm going to do one and would like to do it well. Any help in where to look or click will be appreciated.
  6. Dude you're EVERYWHERE! Hope you're feeling better. funny thing is I have this hankering to build a -3 now I have all these 411 on the Wildcat, not to mention the more abundant AM kits out there for the -3. Thanks for the kind words guys.
  7. Looking at the build thread I started at Swanny's about 5/10, I posted on 8/02, I"m calling it done. BTW, this is suppose to be one of the Cactus Airforce A/C so think along those lines when viewing. I know there is some damage to the windscreen, I wish I had been more careful with some thinner but it didn't happen. If I new the spiders were going to help with the rigging of the Antenna I wouldn't have fussed so much about them! Overview, just not sure what's going to happen with those puddles of mud. Since taking this shot I have removed all but the one mud puddle in the corner.
  8. Well I stirred up some stuff yesterday so I figured to post my last build here and get's y'alls take on it. the build thread is at Swanny's site and gets long because we sort of got off topic a couple of times. Here's what I posted at Swanny's... Looking at the build thread I started about 5/10, it's 8/02 and I"m calling it done. The only thing left to do is possibly paint the antenna lines but I'm going to leave that up to y'all. I know the copper will turn after time so I"m up for suggestions That wire is some pretty dang thin stuff man I'm hear to tell ya. That's the stuff my Va

  10. Hi ya guys. Great looking stuff you all have done. I have a 1:48 Bone in my shop and may be starting it before the end of the year. Not sure how to display yet but I'm thinking about a ground crew working. I got out of the USAF just before they started showing up at Grand Forks. But we did have those hi tech load trailers that we loaded ALCM pylons on Buffs. Does anyone know of those lift trailers are modeled and what were they? MAU something rings a bell with me. Forgive me, it's only been 25 years!
