  6. I heard that shopping at Ismailovo market is cheaper than at Arbat street. I got this rather monotonous reply from MAKS website: Dear Mr.******, All the information about the PRIORITY (VIP) tickets is now available on our official website in the section "Tickets to MAKS". http://www.aviasalon.com/en/static/page/tickets.htm And you can also see the location of the PRIORITY area in the the section "Exhibition scheme" http://www.aviasalon.com/en/static/page/siteplan.htm Best regards, Margarita MAXIMOVSKAYA Department of Advertising and PR Aviasalon JSC info@aviasalon.com www.aviasalon.c

  10. Thanks for the kind comments!
  11. This is my second 3ds Max project after my MiG-25,I'm planning to do an animation after texturing it.Still many details to add but almost completed:
  12. Thank you,I'm saving for the trip of my life!
  13. Yes kotey, I've seen them but the "specialist" tickets are just normal entrance tickets for the trading days, and the VIP tickets (not the 9000rub ones) are still not available.
  14. Oops I got confused between the Aerostar and the Cosmos you mentioned in your trip report.Indeed things might have changed since 2008,but I have seen recent pictures posted on Flickr that were obviously taken from inside the fence(Actually some people were even standing on the aircrafts wings....) Hope the bribe way is still working
  15. Thanks for the valuable info guys, good to know that the place is still open to the public.I can't wait to touch some heavy soviet metal! Ken the Aerostar looks likes an ideal hotel to stay at,I will visit that shop for sure.
  16. I understand that Khodynka is no more a museum but the site can still be visited.I'm planning to go there on my own as the place is very close to Dinamo metro station, can anyone tell me if the site is safe?
  17. Found this very well made guide on how to get to Monino by train: Monino By Train
  18. Arrested  Russians are still not kidding with security matters.... Thanks for the details Ken,that was very informative, and those "spy" pics are just awesome! Thanks Dave, maybe we'll get more info in few weeks as I got no reply from the organisers. It looks like it's the best place.
  19. So from what I understand this was the setting of the previous editions: Ken,could you please indicate the shooting location you were talking about,is it the one close to the runways intersection or the other? Sebastijan, the Myasishchev hangar Ken is refering to is the VIP location you mentioned previously? The following stand doesn't worth 9000 rub I think.... <_< MAKS 2009 Also the nothern part looks like a soviet era heaven,is the access restricted during the show or we can visit it? Thanks!
  20. That's good news,I might give it a try.If not I can spend the day in Monino/Moscow.
