  1. They are definitely copies - the back of the decal sheet (one massive sheet, not individual like a screened sheet) has "inkjet/white - waterslide decal paper" printed on it. They look nice and pixellated as well and at least the Walrus sheet I have, is virtually useless unless you are standing away a couple feet from the sheet. Steve
  2. actually to follow up on my previous post - he also has yet another copy of the Walrus sheet, labeled as "NEW": http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW
  3. I got one of his junk copy sheets too - direct copy of Classic Airframes 1/48 Walrus sheet (complete with a printout of their instruction sheet). http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=5965073547 I intend to send it to Classic Airframes and have them take a look at it. The sheet looks like crap compared to the real thing, which I ended up getting for about $2 more than what I spent on the mucha me version. Steve
  4. Thanks guys for the input. I was tempted to buy both sets and mix/match and seeing Dave say something to that effect helps me "justify" buying both. Steve
  5. I'm looking to convert the Hase/Revell SH-3 Sea King into a Royal Navy HC.4, either from the 90's to present. I see both Airwaves and Flightpath offer a conversion each for about the same price. Is either better bang for the buck? One better quality? One more accurate? Are both complete or do I need other "stuff" to make a complete HC4? Any help sorting out these two sets would be greatly appreciated as I have no clue which route to go. Thanks Steve
  6. Thanks for the info, that's what I was afraid of - "luckily" I ordered it last night through Hannants since I was ordering anyway. couldn't resist. steve
  7. Is this kit available in the US? I wanted a gun nosed J model along with the Hase H model but all I can find for the J is the glassed nose bomber from Hase. I tried squadron and greatmodels with no luck (yet) for this Revell B-25. Is it still new and not yet available here or will I have to order it out of country? thanks -steve
  8. I work at the NADEP at MCAS Cherry Point in the propulsion engineering dept. I specifically work on fuel controls on the T-45 and AV-8 engines (Rolls Royce's F405 and F402 turbofans.) -steve
