  1. Wow, that sounds interessting! I'm currently working on an MD 530FF in 1:35 from the Dragon Kit. Do all modifications by myself. The next big project would be a MD600N probably based on Profilines MD520N in 1:72. But if there is an six bladed rotor on the market in 1:48.... :) - Do you used and modified the Skid tubes from the Kit? Regards
  2. Hello together! the bigger skid tubes are the same type as on the civil MD600N. They are necessairy for the raised take off wight. The landing gear is the limiting factor fot TO, not the power. So with the integration of the six bladed rotor system, big AUX-fuel tank, fuselage reinforcements and on, the standart landing gear would bee to weak to carry the additional wight in an emergency. Regards Thomas
  3. Hy, yes, it's the same Rotor and control system. The Hub is the same dimension and constructed like the 5 bladed Rotor, exept of a sixth bade ;-) To compensate te needed space for the aditional Pitch housing, the Pitch horns are shorter and reshaped on the six-baladed Rotor. Same for the swash plate. maybe you can try to contact MDHelicopter and ask for the MD600 Rotor details/differences? regards Spiff
  4. Hi Loach Driver, here some pictures from my AZModel 500D, aswell in 1:72. Kind Regards Spiff
  5. Hi together, Here some shots from my MD-520N ProfiLine in 1:72. I finished just a day ago. It's the Bird we use for TV productions and Powerline inspections, in the company I work for. The decals are home made, and I did some modifications on the Notar Intake, Jet truster, Flightcontrols and all the camera stuff. Regards from Switzerland Spiff Here the Link from the Build, but it's in german: http://www.modellbaufreunde.ch/index.php?topic=3411.0
