This is a commission build for Kerry Pliler,he helped design the markings for this jet,this is how it turned out,hope he likes it?,you're the first to see it.Still got a few small details to add and going to add some art to the Intake Covers. I used Revells fantastic 1/48 F-15 E,added some parts from the Wolfpack D resin set,decals from Two Bobs set with Future,handpainted with the old Aeromaster Gunship Gray.Panel wash from Pro Modeller,intake covers from Steel Beach. Both commissions together,90-0236 was painted with Gunze and 90-0250 was painted with Aeromaster,can't believe the dif

  7. Got the decals on,future coat this evening and a panel wash when that has dried fully. Had a bit of sun in the UK for a change so took the pic in the garden,the colors look better in natural light. Comments welcome as always. Jon

Thanks Guys, Just received an interesting E-Mail from the Father of the Ground Crew member who was responsible for the artwork on the underneath of the Speedbrake.The two circling Tigers.He also produced another piece of Airbrake art,"Ruptured Duck".Thanks for the pic's you know who you are! He is currently serving in Afghanistan,so safe journey and thanks to him! Jon

From Sprue Bro's, Hasegawa 1/48 F-15 A "Air National Guard" Tamiya 1/48 F-16 C 32/52 Thunderbirds And from my local Hobbymaster, Airfix 1/48 Tornado F-3/EF-3 for £7.50!Bargain,useful for weapons etc...

Here's the latest,handpainted the Gunship Gray,the body was painted with the old Aeromaster acrylic paint,the nose is Gunze,look at the difference in colour!And the Orange is from Games Workshop,Blazing Orange.Just gotta touch up the paint around the speed brake and shes ready for a coat of Future,then decals,as soon as I get the decals in the post.TIGER STRIPES!!
