Hi Diego, First, the 1/72 "13" is not finished yet. A lot of details (the most important on a model) must be placed, and i think few weeks again are necessary to end this one ( my two chidren don't let me more time to build !!! , but i keep them .... ;) just a joke, of course!!). I want to thank you for this choice : your ansewers are well understood and it's courageous to choose an other way than the other. Not only for this plane, but also for all your products. I have seen your entire collection of 1/72 decals and your choices of camos are very interesting. :) For example, i have

amazing !!! Great work, on a superb plane !!! :) Still waiting for the other su-27's family members !!! ;) seb

Of course you're wright Spunk-Y; but this is not the "10", it's the "20". And they have differents camo with differents colours : darker for the 10 ( the blue ) and not the same geometric draws ( tails ....). First, i thaught that it was the "20" on the decals because it is the most famous of the splintered tomcat, since the Two Bobs's (1/72, 1/48, 1/32 ...) but the choice of Hi-line decals has been made on his brother : the "10". So, for me, it's a surprising choice, but an interesting one too : we are not used to see this plane, in model or in reality. :D So Diego, can we tell us in wha

Sorry again. These pics are closer (see the white NAVY). The second one is to show the gray parts in the middle of the fuselage. Seb

sorry for my english. Still working that too. Seb

This is a pic of this Tomcat when i weared a camo like Hi-Line decals proposed to make. I think it's closer than your pic, probably taken at the end of its career ? But you're a lucky guy to have seen "in reality" this plane .... Do you know where are these Tomcats nowdays, and in what conditions are they preserved ? seb

That's right Brian but the tomcat's NSAWC have more than one life. :D I have seen this plane with little differences during his duty : the canopy colour (blue and then, grey like on your pic), some pieces on the structure who have been replaced (on the wing : see the Tomcat Alley Book, it is on the cover ) .... The "13" that i make have the same "problem" and thats why those planes have lost a part of their camo in the end. Too bad .... From my opinion, i have chosen to keep the entire camo to my both kits. If you have some other spics of Naswc birds ... <_< Seb

hye, Just some pics to say that Hi-line have made very beautiful decals and very thin. My 1/72 Hasegawa is still on the bench, but not for a long time i hope. Next kit is ..... the same, but with the "10" splintered camo. A new aventure .... with Hi-Line decals, of course. Good job Diego and thanks for the great quality of your product (unfortunatly for me, not the same as mine. But i am always learning on this forum ....) I will send more pics (sorry for the quality of these ones) when it will be finished. Thanks again. Seb

1/10? I have to buy a new house ! Let's go to the 1/72 scale !!! like Hi-Line Decal, for example. Some Su-27 with exotics camo (ref 72050 ) or Linden Hill, but with more classical one. It is so a beautiful fighter !!!! Come on !!!! Seb

Hi everybody, I have seen the fantastic demonstration of the su-27 SMK at LeBourget last year (2005). It was one of the most beautiful camo that i have seen. I have bought the su-27 of Hasegawa (1/72) and i am going to do it with this camo. I know the differences between the su-27B and the SMK, but i will try ... Do anybody knows where i can find the decals and if they exists ? And if a conversion kit is or will be on the market ? Thanks a lot. Seb

Thanks again for your help. I will make some test and we will see ... Happy new year !!! Seb

Thanks for your both reply : as i explain in the first message, it will be a long way for me to reach an acceptable level for two reason principally : - first of all, i use only paintbrushes. So, i don't have the precision of all of you. I am not "old school", but i have had a bad first experience with my first airbrushe. - then, i am afraid to make the weathering on my model. i know that is stupid but i think that is very difficult to make something good and realistic ( the 1/72 scale make the thing a little bit difficult too ...) So, my questions are : can you give me some tips to make a

Hi everybody, My name is Sébastien and i am 33 years old. I build only 1/72 planes ( my deskroom is small )of the US Navy ( i think i am a little beat a son of the movie "TOP GUN" ....). I build models sinceabout 20 years, but i have a lot of things to learn from you to be as good as all the models that i have seen on ARC. My reference is Patrick Spitaels (Foxone, i think). I have seen his work in other web sites and i love his incredibly realistic technic of paint and weathering. May be because he builds NSAWC models too, with their colorfull schemes ... I have discovered the work of An
