  1. Hello all, I thought I might share some detail of my current Strike Eagle build. As is well known this bird is not well represented in my favorite 1/72 scale and it takes some creativity to turn any available kit into an accurate representation of a current F-15E. Basis of my project is the old hasegawa kit with the raised panel lines. I added quite some scratchbuilding to what's in the box, and some items from other kits found their way in here too.   3. John, Holmes, Gregg, thanks a lot for the nice compliments! I also thought the 1st Marine Division Special Markings added a bit to an else overly grey jet. As I now look at the pictures it seems to me that the canopy is a bit out of shape, in the area above the front pilot seat?? :D What do the experts think? cheers, Andy
  4. Hello fellow modellers, after years of silent watching I finally dare to share my latest ex-bench queen in my first forum contribution. Not my best shot tho as I wanted to call her done so that I could move on to more actual builds. However, here she is. The Italeri kit offers quite a bit of a challenge when it comes to parts fit and accuracy, but it is a nice offering in light of it being priced considerably lower than the Hasegawa product.   6. Hi fellow modellers, i'm about to convert a italeri 1/72 intruder tanker into an A-6E. Anyone happen to know where i can get proper decals for an intruder in TPS scheme? I don't have a specific squadron in mind. thanks for any help andy
