  1. Would love to get hold of copies of these... are they readily available?
  2. That would be great - I suspect there'll be a number of Raptors turning up over the next few months!
  3. Wow - just shows how effective the paint is then! If the trim is 36251, what did you use the LGG for? (my Raptor is getting close to paint, and I'd like to get it right!!!)
  4. Could you clarify what you mean by the trim? I assume LGG for the edges etc, but what did you use aggressor grey for (and what FS is this??) Also, what did you overcoat with to get the brown tint? Looks really good!
  5. All photos gratefully received Robert!
  6. I'm sure I asked for that one!!! Seriously, it's great to see this stuff! It sounds silly, but I've NEVER seen photographs of the boring stuff that gets taken for granted! Our SIG is trying to make sure our displays look more like dioramas than just static lineups, and this stuff really helps!
  7. Mark - thanks very much! Now, can you explain what they're all used for?
  8. My bad! Should know the difference, shouldn't I?!
  9. No - it's the -188 I need as I'm working on a batch of Aggressors...
  10. You guys keep coming up with stuff I've never even heard of! Keep up the good work! And let's have some pickups next!
  11. That's an interesting question... Not really aware of much at all which is a real pity - obviously there are kits of the CUCV (M1008), Blazer (M1009), HMMWV, V100, M20 and M-113, but I guess that's about it? (I am speaking in 1/72nd scale here!)
  12. Thanks Mark! Anything your sight falls on would be excellent - we're a little starved for stuff over here!
  13. It does... I was kind of hoping it would turn out to be based on an existing pod or tank of some kind to make my life easier!
  14. I don't think this pod is available in 1/72nd, although it is available in 1/48th and 1/32nd... Can anyone advise as to how to go about scratchbuilding? Is there anything similar I COULD use?
  15. Can't speak for the Aviation Workshop versions, but I have the Lonestar resin in 1/72nd (supplied via Dave Roof) and they're beautifully cast in white resin - they look just like injection moulded pieces...
  16. Wow! Didn't realise there was ever a Mustang chase car in the UK!
  17. Nice! Don't think anyone kits a Polaris in 1/72nd scale yet though :( !! Don't suppose you could get some shots of the vehicles in the background at some point?
  18. This is my recently completed Mystere, which I've built as a BDRT airframe from RAF Lakenheath in the late '80s... Kit is from the box, with the exception of the cockpit interior (Neomega A-10 cockpit!) and undercarriage (Aeroclub white metal). Hope you like the pics!
  19. Nope... they're on the same sprue that has the GE engine nozzle... looks like this was "cut off" the F-16N sprue and added separately. Should clarify that this is 1/72nd scale, NOT 1/48th (I'm in the UK and would cringe at the thought of building 8 1/48th F-16's at once!!!)
  20. I'll second that - they're beautiful castings!
  21. Guys - you were right! All Hasegawa F-16 kits from the F-16N on (excluding the F-16A, A Plus, B, B Plus and Block 25 C and D) have these pods on the same sprue as the exhaust nozzle for the General Electric engine. Many thanks!!
  22. Jake - all I can say is, REALLY looking forward to seeing your 18th AGRS stuff! Really, I was looking for overall shots as I've realised that the scheme on each aircraft is slightly different. I also didn't realise that there have been 2 "brown" schemes, with the colors on the tailfin reversed. Just shows you have to look!
  23. But now you've told us... Fort Leavenworth it is! Seriously, thanks very much guys... I have a feeling they are in the F-16 kits, on the same sprue as the engine... must go check!
  24. Nice picture - I've been looking for some for ages! Do you have any of the GTO's?
