Hi All, I have a Gunze/Procon Boy PS270 airbrush, and it has a MAC valve (I think that stands for Micro Air Control). I honestly have never used the MAC valve, but after every use, I cycle the valve (screwing full out to full in, then full out) to make sure it remains functional. However, over time, the valve has become harder to turn, and I'm guessing the threads are clogged with paint of other things that have dripped down. I can't really see anything on the threads, and I try to clean them periodically with a bush. I have never seen, contrary to all the other parts

Hi all, Today I have a small question, can someone tell me how to clean alclad paint in an airbrush ? I tried gunze thinner, mig thinner, and it does not work, so I am completly lost at this stage. Thanks for your answers. Regards

Afternoon everyone! (Well, afternoon for me in NYC anyway). After a long hiatus I have returned to building and painting models. I have an airbrush kit with compressor but Ill admit when I got it I didn't go top of the line. The compressor though looks just fine... ie I don't THINK it is the weak point. Anyway, I have noticed on lower pressure settings my airbrush tends to splatter paint and then spray a mist of it (I am trying for the latter). It will spray that fine mist for a few seconds then splatter again, then fine mist... etc etc. I am using acrylics Vallejo paints and no th

Ok so I picked up the UMP APEX Airbrush. Good little brush but Im switching away from Stynylrez so I dont need it. One of those impulse purchases Airbrush has been used twice with Mr. Paint for function check. No issues I just dont have a need for it. Comes with the regular trigger and a high roller trigger that I purchased. $110 shipped. Comes with 2 oz bottles of Grey and White Stynylrez and the high roller trigger.
