Hi gents, I was browsing internet archives for pics of Gulf war helos and started to update my pages and research the H-46 more. Thanks to a fellow modeller, Dutch, for pointing me to the fact that CH-46Es had TWO different sponsons during the service time (they had the old "short" sponsons in Gulf). Also, they used metal and fiberglass rotor blades. So, I was able to find info, pics, instructions of kits in 1:72 and 1:48 scale. Hi gents, I am looking for any info on the following three AH-64A Apaches from Gulf war. They are from the Verlinden Lock On book. First is "Midnight Insertion" with what appears to be a "WO 1 S. LEE" as a Copilot/Gunner Second is unknown AH-64A with some small nose art. Third is "Valkyrie" with Pilot CW2 Alwin "BIg Al" Anderson and CPG CW2 Art "Shell" Gribensk (photo by WO1 David Nuss, A Co 3/227 AHB) Thanks !

Hi gents, I have a question. Enclosed is a screen grab from the Twitter video, stating that Saudi F-15Cs with Fast Packs armed with 3 x Mk.84 (under wing pylons and centerline) + 2 x AIM-7 (and maybe something AA on wing pylons, can not make it from the screen grab) were operating duing Gulf war and bombing Iraqis. This is a real puzzle to me, as I thought that only F-15Cs with Fast Packs in 1990s were the US jets with FF and IS tail codes (picture prove). From the screen grab the Fast Packs are definetly not the F-15E type ones.... Thanks

Hello, My name is David, I´m from Germany and I have been an aviation enthusiast for many years now, but this is my first post on ARC. As I am very interested in small air forces in general and in the middle east particularly, I have read a good deal of books about the Iran-Iraq-War. A few days ago, i opened the book "Iraqi Fighters" searching for inspiration for my next project, and I found a nice sideview of MiG 23BN #1428, No.29 squadron, Iraqi Air Force, as used in the very first attack on Iranian targets on the afternoon of 22 september 1980. The plane was armed with FAB-250ShN
