  1. I'm 99% complete on my 1/72 Academy F-14A in Jolly Rogers livery Victory 202 as it appeared in The Final Countdown dogfight scene. I added Reedoak pilot and RIO figures, Quinta Studio 3D cockpit decals, Reskit armaments, and VF-84 decals from Wolfpack Design. I've got a couple of minor details to take care of (anti-collision lights and the white patch on the starboard leading edge of the wing glove), but I'm essentially done. I'm very happy with how it came out despite a couple of minor issues. I plan on doing a conversion of a T-6 Texan to a Zero next so I can display them together and then a
  2. From a non-smoking home, a complete, in good shape, 1962 Cruise Book of the USS Independence CVA-62. One tear to the top of the binding but otherwise in good shape for its age. 247 pages, hard bound, cover measures 12 1/4" x 9 1/4", book is about 1 1/4" thick. Includes tons of UNPUBLISHED photos of the following squadrons: -VF-84 Jolly Rogers (F8U-2/F-8C Crusader) -VF-41 Black Aces (F3H-2 Demon) -VA-72 Hawks (A-4C Skyhawk) -VA-86 Sidewinders (A-4C Skyhawk) -VFP-62 Det (Photo Crusader) -VA-75 Sunday Punchers (AD-6?) -VAW-33 Nighthawks -VAW-12

  4. Hi, Just completed the brand new Zouki Mura. F-4J Phantom. The new kit is fantastic and easily the best 1/48 kit produced. While I did intend to do this as a build thread, I did not have the time to build, photograph, and post with all that is going on, so this will be the quickie version showing the cockpit, seats and some construction pictures. First the kit contains detail on par with the 1/32 scale offerings. What is nice is that ZM made the assembly as such to get the detail built and installed hiding seams and allowing for a clean installatio
