Rebel-17
Seems I've seen this posted before, but what's the best way to "flatten" a paint? I'm re-doing some character kits that I made as a kid and I don't want the clothing to be glossy. Thanks.
aerofile83
Tamyia makes a flat base that can be added to their acrylics or I haves uses rosonal(spelling?) lighter fluild to thin model masters enamal, makes the dead flat no gloss at all. Casey

William G
depending on what medium you are using I have found that Ronson (Naptha) works best with Testors Enamels, as that is waht I also used to use when airbrushing... got some great effects and it was used to clean my brushes cheaper than the Testors thinner ( gonna give away the age here ) which was in the same tiny bottle for 25Cents, same as the paints too as I remember Since I have gone to Acrylics I use the flattening afent from Gunze almost exclusively. had some results with Talc years ago but cant remember the paints I was using then...
