sv51macross
Hey. Fro my birthday one of the things my dad got me was a 1:48 Revell AH-64. Now, I am very interested in this chopper, the Cobra looks awesome, but I sure as heck am not rescribing it. How bad is the fit on this kit? How much rivet/panel detail will I loose? C-130CrewChief
The fit on mine was worthy of the price. I think it was a fun build and realy good for practice. The plate on the bottom had some nice gaps and the pods along the side needed some four letter words to get them to agree. Just tape off the areas you will be sanding and all you will be sanding off mainly will be the rivets on the bottom of the tail boom. A rule of thumb for me on the older Revelle kits is to glue the top first around the cockpit. That way most of the canyons are in areas that won't be seen unless you pick it up, and I will stab someone who picks up one of my kits without asking first!
