MR BLUE
Has anyone seen a review of this kit? In particular im wanting to see what the cockpit layout is. any links would be appreciated.
Bobski
The cockpit of the Trumpeter twin-seat kit is OK, and believe there is some aftermarket to tart it up a bit. Unfortunately the kit overall is let down by the shape issues that it shares with their single-seat kit (dodgy back end, undersized exhausts, fictional DASS pods, incorrect flare dispensers and hopelessly undersized pylons to name but a few). Revell are apparently going to do a twin-seat version of their kit in 1/32, which is far more accurate than the Trumpeter kit (albeit a bit of a pain to build in places). Incidentally, I don't know where Trumpeter got "EF2000A" and "EF2000B" from, because both are fiction and the Typhoon hasn't been known as EF2000 for almost 15 years. Red Dog
Not a review but I made a WIP build with the revell single seat and trumpy dual seat http://reddogmodels.blogspot.be/2012/11/132-ef-2000-revelltrumpeter-comparison.html Maybe that will help, especially the spreadsheet at the end with the comparison strong and weak points
MR BLUE
Thanks for the Info Guys. Hopefully the Revell kit is set for very near release. Red Dog that was a very good review and gave me a better view of what I was confused about cockpit wise.....But wow! I had no Idea that rear end was anywhere near as bad as I had been hearing. Its WORSE!
