Stefan buysse
Hi, With the Mig-21, the F-5F and the two TA-4J's, I probably won't have time to build this in the GB. But it seems like a good place to ask. The instructions on FTD 48-023 call for FS 36322 as the lighter color on F-16N BuNo 163271 Top Gun "Powder Puff". So far, I have not found a FS36322 in the list of FS colors. Is that 36322 a missprint? What should the color be? Cheers, Stefan.
SERNAK
Actually, that's FS-36622. http://www.colorserver.net/showcolor.asp?fs=36622
Hajo L.
What is "Powder Puff"?? HAJO
Stefan buysse
Hi, SERNAK, Thank you very much. Hajo, My guess is that "Powder Puff" is a nickname given to this color scheme at Top Gun, pretty much like the names "Snake", "Sand", "New Blue", "Grape", etc... for USAF schemes. Maybe it is called "Powder Puff" because the colors are rather soft, like pastels. Cheers, Stefan.
Hajo L.
Hmm, the Fightertown-Set for the Adversary Tomcats also contains markings for a F-14, called "Powder Puff". So I thought it´s some kind of training event...? HAJO
