Tiger27 Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 The SAAB Safir (Saphire) served with the Norwegian airforce for decades and is still a common sight all over scandinavia as private planes. This model is the recent '48th scale offering from Swedish company "Tarangus", in '48th scale it's a typical limited run kit. It features recessed panel lines, some fine raised detaling, the cocpit is decent but could do with some more detalilng. The fit is dreadfull, espessialy arround the cocpit. there is no option for an open window and although the glass is clear the one piece moulding could use a cupple of layers of gloss coat.
