Randy Lutz
Hi all Can't recall if I have ever posted a finished model in The Display Case, so for my first I thought I would show you my Heinkel He 100 from the Heinkel Industrieschutzstaffel at Rostock-Marienehe, Germany in the Spring of 1940. I performed the following to the model: Fuselage scratch built oil cooler chin scoop lift points drilled out vacuform sliding canopy stretched sprue antenna wire Wings pitot tube replaced with hypodermic needle gun openings drilled out main gear doors thinned and structural detail added scratch built landing gear retraction linkages Paint and decals airframe painted with Xtracolor X204 Schwartgrun RLM 70, X205 Dunkelgrun RLM 71 and X202 Hellblau RLM 65 kit decals used aircraft weathered with chalk pastels References Wydawnictwo Militaria No. 169 Heinkel 100, by Sereryn Fleischer Schiffer Military History No. 52, Heinkel He 100 Aero Series No. 12, Heinkel 100, 112 These images were taken by Jamie Leggo Cheers Randy

Airfixer
Great job - impeccable build and finish. The He 100 is somewhat of a rare sight, so thanks for sharing. Cheers, Erik Built its 32nd scale cousin a few years ago:

You are right, you don't see it built often, which is a pity as it really is an attractive little subject. Cheers Randy
