F-15DJ REAR Cockpit panels & consoles

Recommended Posts

Gentlemen,

I'm planning to convert a 1/32 TAM F-15E into a F-15DJ. So I guess I'll have to rebuild the rear cockpit instrument panel and consoles .

Problem : I have no references . So I'm addressing to the F-15DJ specialists : anyone have clear pictures of the F-15DJ REAR cokpit instrument panels and consoles ?

Or does anybody a good walkaround reference ?

I would highly appreciate it to get your feedback on this request.

Happy modelling

Birdie

I'll double check my copy when I get home but I believe that this book will have some helpful photos.

If you can wait a little while, I bet Jake's 2nd edition of the Modern Eaglr Guide will have tons of useful information. I have NO inside information, just a guess based on how stellar the first edition is and what he posted in his thread on the subject.

Well, I have a decent photo of what purports to be the rear instrument panel (quite sparsely appointed!) but both the hideous Photobucket and recently adopted Flickr refuse to accept the upload for reasons unknown -it gets to 90 per cent and drops dead. I'll keep trying, or can probably e-mail it as an attachment if you want to PM me an address.

Good hunting!

*Edit*: Just got thru on Flickr! Let's give it a shot:

F-15DJ Back Seat Panel

(Link only as it isn't my photo; can't remember where I found it.)

Thanks very much for your reaction. I've just ordered the model art book so that would be a great source of reliable pictures.

And OF COURSE I will order the 2nd book of Jake Melampy

Appreciate your reaction,

Sincerly ,

Birdie

Thanks Chippy . Got that picture too, but I'm surprised that from other cockpits one can find a ton of pictures while the F-15D .... there are less pictures of it than the F-35 !!!

Anyway : thanks a lot .
