Rob de Bie Posted May 3, 2021 Share Posted May 3, 2021 Many years ago I made a kit review of the Verlinden MD-3 'Mule' navy deck tractor, along with all other 1/72 kits of the subject. Recently I added close to 40 reference photos, all snapshots from YouTube videos: https://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/mule.htm Through those photos I 'discovered' a third type of APU attachment, apart from the two types of APUs that I already knew. The APU type that I did not know before seems to have been installed on another vehicle too. I found one photo of that vehicle too, and added it to the reference section. Does anyone know the designations of these APUs? The navy training manuals that are available online are not clear on that subject. Any other comments or insights are welcome too!
