bentwaters81tfw Posted December 6, 2022 Share Posted December 6, 2022 Hi Guys & Gals Our 1/1 T-33 has come to the end of it's restoration, and is now having paintwork applied, naturally going into the colours of the 81st TFW. We have located a PDF showing the location and font etc of the airframe stencils, however it lacks some important detail. There should be a stencil at the base of the fin, just forward of the rudder. This is shown either as black text or red text in a white box. We think it is to do with the rudder linkage, but despite scouring the web, we have been unable to find a photograph, or details of the wording. Does any of you know what this might be, or better still have a photo? Out chairman is a stickler for getting things right, and would be a very happy bunny if any of you can help.
