Right guys, after further research , consensus is FS14087 is the suspect. What is more I can get it here in aerosol. It has an equivalent in RAL 130-50-30, close enough for Gubbermint work, so I will go for that. Thanks for all your input. Frank

Hi Guys, just a quick one. I have a Cessna YH-41 Seneca/Skyhook I want to finish in the Army colours of green with a white top, also a Cessna T-41 Mascalero/Bug Smasher in the same scheme. Can anyone tell me the correct colour or FS number for the green please? TIA Cheers Frank

I will look in my instruction stash. I keep everything. I'll get back to you shortly. I did build one of these, I bought it cheap, and added lots of Aries resin. Finished as an F-110 demonstator - i.e. a Navy a/c on loan. Edit: I have looked through my collection, and sadly I do not have any instructions. I suspect as it's an F-4 that came short of parts, I may not have had instructions or decals. I would think anyone can build an F-4 without instructions.

I thank you both, I can now proceed!

Howdy folks, Can I presume on your wealth of knowledge again please? I am looking for the colours and/or FS numbers for the desert camo scheme on the B-1A. Any help would be much appreciated. TIA Frank

Hi Guys & Gals Our 1/1 T-33 has come to the end of it's restoration, and is now having paintwork applied, naturally going into the colours of the 81st TFW. We have located a PDF showing the location and font etc of the airframe stencils, however it lacks some important detail. There should be a stencil at the base of the fin, just forward of the rudder. This is shown either as black text or red text in a white box. We think it is to do with the rudder linkage, but despite scouring the web, we have been unable to find a photograph, or details of the wording. Does any of

My Monogram instructions do not have this, though they appear to indicate the doors slide upwards. Thank you. -

Not quite, the options present the inner or outer door skin, which also means a colour option. That's why I need to know. -

Did the doors hinge inwards or slide up? I'm doing a 'D' assembly ship. -
Most interesting, and thank you. I plan to model an F-104A, which is supposedly NMF all over. I will speak with Maj Al Brown, who flew the modified 'A' model that was supplied to Taiwan. Apparently the J79 was tweaked to give increased performance. He said nothing would touch it in it's day.

Hi Guys, Can anyone tell me why USAF F-104s had white painted wings, when the rest of the airframe was NMF? Also was this fleet wide, as I am sure I have seen all NMF airframes? TIA Frank
