B2Blain
What's the best way to determine the mixing ratios that Tamiya provides in their assembly guide? I am building an F-35A. Thanks!
Bob Beary
Not quite sure what you mean here. The mixing amounts are given in the instructions. Small amounts you can do drop by drop into a mixing cup. What I did for the larger amounts (the two grays ) was to use a 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon from the kitchen and drop the two colors (in each case) into a cleaned out Tamiya paint bottle in the amounts indicated in the instructions. B2Blain
I was going to mix the whole bottle for 36170 as I would like it to be consistent. I think it's a 5:1 ration for LP15/LP59. I thinks that 20%? The bottle is 10 ml. So would I add 2 ml of LP59? Edited July 11, 2023 by B2Blain

B2Blain
Thanks Andy! I ended up using a little less than 1/2 teaspoon.
