Niels Posted January 19 Share Posted January 19 All decal makes seems to have references which indicate national insigna i 6 locations. Had to check my Osprey books on the MiG 17/19 and -21, and it is inconclusive. Many jets stored on display and shown in these books are void of all insignias. Others have them only on the side. Atleast one photo of a MiG-17 shows overwing insignias, but this is an ex-PLAAF jet with the PLAAF markings overpainted. For now, I would say it is inconclusive until more period-photos can show which it is? Looking forward to learning more for sure! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
