Thommo
I took the advice of Loki in my last progress post and faded some areas. Also added some fuel spill stains and generally flatened the finish as per Johno's advice on scale effect. Sprayed a few panels different shades as if they'd been replaced. Much happier with the look now. In Signal publications on Corsairs, some WW2 pics have really nice, neat (ie straight edged) fuel stains down fuselage & wing root - though I found no pics of Korean Corsairs like this, I used articitic licence and added it anyway using v dilute light grey. Next steps in weathering will be: 1. Salty color panel line sludge wash 2. Light mist of grime in spots, esp to dirty up markings (& to hide the fuselage seam underneath which I just noticed is still a bit rough - IPMS judges  ). 3. Very heavy light grey exhaust stains (pastel?) 4. Gun smoke stains 5. Oil leaks, esp around wheel wells 6. Paint chipping with silver pencil :D
