Heloman
Just had my first look at the GB, looks very interesting and I may well throw my hat into the ring. Firstly I have question. In Osprey Combat aircraft 48 US Navy A-7.... on page 44 there is a pic of a maritime mine being loaded onto a VA-94 a/c. Does anyone hve any more info onthis ordenance, pic's or dimensions. Back in'75 I started a project where I was going to model all the A-7's using the kit and Micro-Scale decals. I pull the box of bits now and again and add a new Airfix kit when i find one. Maybe the group build will give me some motivation Heloman

Heloman
Hi Guy's, Thanks for your input so far, reading the text in the Osprey book the mine was a Mk52-2. I would like more info please. If I can get a side view and dimensions then I can make the masters and distribute if anyone is interested. Regards heloman

They were taken out of inventory a bit ago, so they may not be in many remaining tactical manuals. Cheers
lodni_k
Interesting! I understand a lot of these were used in the mining of Haiphong Harbor. Am I correct?
