geedubelyer
Hi guys I spent a very pleasant hour visiting my cousin Rick this afternoon. He's been known to dabble in the plastic, in fact, here are some pics of his latest model: The pics were taken outside on quite a stormy afternoon but I think that helps give a little atmosphere..... Here's a closer look at some details....... And some more indoors which really helps show off the BMF. I think he's done a terrific job on the Mustang. Rick builds purely for his own pleasure and this kit is totally OOTB. Let us know what you think......

geedubelyer
Hi all, I'm glad you like it, Rick'll be thrilled. He was n't sure about letting me post these so the posotive feedback might encourage him to let me show some more of his work. (Next project is possibly a P-38 but, shhh...don't let on!) Bravissimo! Any idea how he did the finish? What did he use for the finish? I asked him that when I first saw it and I was amazed at how ingenius it was. Rick sprayed the airframe silver using an aerosol and then applied pencil graphite over the dry paint in the direction of the airflow. A very simple idea that gives superb results I think you'll agree. Thanks again for the plaudits, I'll pass them on. :D
