Phantom Phixer 79 - 91 Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 (edited) Well after not being able to get ahold of Aeromaster72153, and having a very bad need for Shark teeth ala PACAF 80's F-4E/G style,, reverted to building them in CorelDraw12. First attempt at doing this, but not new to Corel. Still a pain in the butt, the eyes were easy, the mouth took about 5 hours to get it where it is at now. Some background. The only sheet that I have yet to see that has these correct is the OOP AM sheet mentioned. Other close ones are the style that extends past the seam where the radome closes, and these when even cut off at the radome seam, are still not quite right. PACAF F-4's in the 80's all had the teeth, and they stopped at that seam. I have several reference pics used, live down the street from the gate guard F-4 at Osan, plus 8 years in PACAF as a radar troop with my face at that seam everyday, I wanted to be as close as I could get. Will be printing them on Exerts Choice blank stock and they will be going on F-4E's for 90TFS PN, 51TFW OS, 497TFS GU, and F-4G 90TFS. Hope to post the final "on the nose" pics sometime this year. BTW these are yet to be put into scale (1/72), but that shouldn't be much of a challenge.
