Hi Graham, The Tamiya kit is a joy to build! The intake truck assembly which is located above the main landing gear showes it's seam. I solved this problem with the application of filler putty and sanding using fine Scotch Bright pad. At the forward intake section located above the nose landing gear wheel well I tried a different approach. I used liquid welding glue and let the excess plastic ooze out of the joint. I let the plastic/glue ooze harden for a couple of days and then sanded it off - whalla - no seam at all. A small piece of advice, attach the wheel well bulkheads and actuating
