  1. Absolutely fantastic collection of DC-130 pics, most of which I've never seen. Thank you very much for taking the time and effort for posting.
  2. Hello, as title says, I'm desperately looking for the 1/48th F-16 CAS (Lizard/ Charcoal, whatever you want to call them) decals. Preferably intact but happy to consider part used. I'm especially looking for the F-16B Hill one. Both Caracal and Two Bobs made a set (Caracal Models CD48056 and Twobobs 48-084). If anyone has a set...

  5. Thanks guys, it looks like no one does just the nozzles then. Shame.
  6. Hi guys – quick question. Does anyone know who makes a resin replacement for the (closed) nozzles for the 1/32 Academy F/A-18 Hornet? I know Aires do a set that include the jetpipe but I’m just after the nozzles (in cream colour as opposed to grey). I know someone did them but can’t for the life of me find them remember or remember who. Ah while I’m at it, does anyone have an old F-18 Hasegawa (1/32) decal sheet available that they don’t want and would like to sell? I’m specifically after the ‘Hornet’ decal and the hornet emblem/image that appeared on the side of the first pr

  9. For the love of God, can someone please explain how this works. I keep on reading how good it is, but its just beyond me. If it doesn't dry rock solid, its too wet and gets stuck in my sanding material. What am I doing wrong, what sort of CA are you using, slow, fast, thick, thin, coloured, smelly, non, hot, cold etc? Please spill the beans, I'm on the verge of tears here. Thanks.
  10. Cool. Thanks fo the replies guys. Much appreciated.
  11. What, no one?? I'm close to tears here...
  12. Ok, on the verge of tears. I’m building the Airfix 72 Vulcan in the old white 617 Sqn colours. Except for the obvious Airfix problems, its turning out to be quite a nice kit. I painted it with Tamiya’s white (lacquer) primer and decided to leave it at as far a the white goes. I then glossed it with Humrol’s clear gloss (enamel) a few weeks after and left to dry for another few weeks. When I decided I needed to mask a few areas to paint disaster struck. When I peeled off the masking tape (which isn’t really that strong), a whole layer of gloss on top of the white came away, leaving a

Brilliant. Thanks Paul T, and I got the stuff this weekend. For those who asked, out here in Italy its called diluente "nitro". Figures. Thanks again. Now I can clean the pesky alcad out of my airbrush like it was meant to be. Opps, reminds me, I have to phone humbrol, need new nib & washers. d.

Anyone know what lacquer thinners is here in Italy? Or at least know the chemical composition (or a description) so I can ask around. I'm using alcad and I need the stuff to clean my airbrush. Thanks.
  15. Thank you all for you help, you’ve been most helpful. One thing I forgot to mention though was the ‘superglue filler thing’. Could someone explain how superglue is actually used as a filler. When I think superglue of the stuff that bonds my fingers together in 3 secs for a week. I’ve used it in troublesome seams with baking power, but I’m still at a loss with using it as a filler. Its usually harder than the plastic of the model & sanding it is a cow. Is there something I’m missing? How do you sand/shape something that cures in secs and without the sanding tool becoming part o
