  8. I'm not sure about the exact destination, but the whole idea is nice
  9. I'm happy to hear that there are 1/72 scale aficionados in US too. I had an impression that most of US-modellers tend to build large scale kits.
  10. Well, if each modeller bought only the kit he will build immediatelly, most of the kit and aftermarket producers would have to find other jobs.
  11. About 250 1/72 scale (including about 50 Hasegawa's Fw 190s, 15 Ju 88s and 30 Fine Molds' Bf 109s:) ), Zvezda's 1/48 Bf 109 F-2 and a few 1/32.
  12. Thank you for using our decals, I'm very happy to see your great kit wearing them ;) Best regs, Maciej

  14. Thank you! When I start building the kit, I'll make a in-progress thread here and message you. I'm aware of “Hangover Haven II, there is a PYN-Up decals sheet, still available here.
  15. Regarding the IK-3 kit - these guys say it isn't so big disaster: http://sites.google.com/site/mythbustertea...ki-Ik-3-english Icey, what references do you have on IK-2 and IK-3? I have the first kit, will buy the second and would like to get make own opinion, but I don't have any sources to confront the kits with. Best regards.
  16. Sorry for some kind of off topic, but it seems that Phil is the right man to tell me what should I change in my Hasegawa's B-24J to make an accurate F-7A 42-73049 "Photo Queen" (excluding the decals which currently doesn't exist, of course). Can you help me Phil? Best regards, MG
  17. That's a good point: test them! Techmod quite often makes some changes in their printing technology and unfortunately, some of the decals may be hard to use - but which exactly, I don't know. I only can say the decals attached to the Topcolors books and printed by Techmod are of good quality, I've tested most of them.
  18. This month Special Hobby releases a combo: SH72211 P-40F/L & Kittyhawk Mk.IIA „RAF and FAFL“ 2 in 1
  19. Thank you! If someone has some info on other schemes, please share it!
  20. Ok, but you have the booklet with drawings for that too. There were two Bf 110 G sheets by Cutting Edge too (48045 and 46), first for G-4s only and the second one included one or two G-2 options- including the one also depicted in Peddinghaus sheet. Please remember that Q1+VB is a Bf 110 F with a Bf 110 G rear canopy fitted.
  21. johnsan - I've limited my opinion to WW2 kits because I'm not familiar with models of pre- and postWW2 aircraft I know that the price of this kit is high even in Japan, but on the other hand, I know (from a friend, who is an economist) that the high exchange rate of yen is artificcially maintained. JakcMan - The magazine instructions are indeed annoying - probably for any foreign customer who don't read Japanese. You've mentioned A6M3 - this was is sold with another magazine - does it look similar to Model Graphix? feddawq - This info came from a Fine Molds employee, but it was some time a
  22. Because it's simply the best 1:72 kit of a WW2 fighter kit ever made. I don't like Zeros and not a big fan of Japanese aircraft too but will get it for sure. The price? Blame the overvalued Yen rather, however like Chuck1945 I would prefer to get the kit separately - the magazines make shipping cost twice and I simply don't need them another pieces of paper when buying 2 or more kits. Hope the D-9 will be sold separately - I will need more than 20 ;)
  23. You'll find 2, I hope interesting, options for G-2, 1 for G-3 and 1 for G-4 in Kagero's Topdrawings booklet on Bf 110 G
  24. Dear all B-24 experts, I've bought Hasegawa's B-24J some time ago. I'd like to build F7A "Photo Queen" - what should I modify or change in the kit? Thank you in advance for any hints. MG
