  1. ...and arms, and legs, and chest, and belly, and back...... Better yet: NAIR (in the USA a well known depilatory) Schick shaving products
  2. To get baptized they would have to be here on Earth....That means immigration...Does ET get a "Green" card or does he become an illegal alien? ;)
  3. There was no B-2 yesterday. They had a B-1B on display and another one did a fly by. Same with an F-117 and an F-22. Thunderbirds were short one plane, however they did say that one of their members was not present on Saturday due to being by his wife's side as she gave birth to their little girl. Don't know if it was one of the solo pilots, but I would say that was a good reason for not being there. The Draken demo was amazing, mainly because you don't get to see too many of those out here in the West Coast. The show itself was not as well organized as in the past, however they haven't
  4. Is this for real, or is it just another "Nessie" sighting? Can anyone confirm this?
  5. I will be there bright and early. That way there will be fewer people in the way during picture time.
  6. I wonder how many Burt Rutan designs will end up at the Smithsonian? Will he have more than Kelly Johnson?
  7. The Blue Angels WIll be at Miramar at the airshow. Blue Angels will come up for Fleet Week which is this coming week in the Bay Area. Travis has the Thunderbirds. I got the wrong information from a coworker. In this case it is a good thing. The Thunderbirds show got suspended less than a minute into their routine at Salinas International Airshow, Low Ceilings and all that. Hopefully I will get to see them this time.
  8. Blue Angels will be up here in the SF Bay area at TRAVIS AFB that weekend.
  9. Hopefully the Southwest Airlines "Shamu" is nowhere in sight, it might get hungry!
  10. The thing putting a damper on things is: "What happens if the vehicle with nuclear engines gets into a bad situation?" If it explodes in the atmosphere, it becomes a dirty bomb. If it crashes whole but the nuclear containment part cracks on the ground, you create an unimaginable environmental disaster. Once that problem gets licked, then nuclear engines become an option.
  11. The price of the respirator depends on what you are planning on using it for. A SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) is too much if all you are planning to do is spray paint a few 1/144 scale Tomcats. Most of the time you ought to be okay by just purchasing a dust mask and painting in a well ventilated room. You could also buy a half mask (as opposed to the full mask- which resembles the stuff used by Riot police) with appropriate cartidges. Your money, your choice.
  12. Claudia Black is in Stargate SG-1 (this season) for a few episodes. As soon as Amanda Tapping was back from maternity leave, Lt. Col. Carter "rejoined" Stargate Command. Lots of Sci-Fi veterans are to be seen on Sci-Fi Channel's series': X-files' smoking man plays a bad guy in SG-1, Lexa Doig is the new Dr. in SG-1, Mitch Pileggi is in Stragate Atlantis, Lucy Lawless seems likely to become a regular in Battlestar Galactica, etc.
  13. They also did try to use the "Cheesecake" factor too. I forgot which episode it was where they showed both Counselor Troi and Dr. Crusher working out in Enterprise's gym (and in tights! ).
  14. J-bot of Canada has decals of this as well as the dearly departed Smirnoff/Stolichnaya MiGs.
  15. Caption: Wait! I see a seam line, possibly some bad paint, alignment seems off too, that's a fingerprint there. There's some silvering on that decal.....
