  1. Roger that Dave. This makes my life easier. Thank you. Regards, Douglas
  2. Hello Pandabear and Bruce, thanks for the link. At least there is at least one company producing resin wheels for the Eagle, though I can't tell whether the J has thin or thick tyres. I checked with Design Marketing International, it looks Contact Resine is out of business. Regards, Douglas
  3. Hi Check Six, I checked their web page for stock before getting help here. They have no such item under Contact Resine, not even no stock. Regards, Douglas
  4. Hi guys, I would like to build a F-15J in 1/32. The one (Tamiya 1/32 F-15E) I built years ago, the rubber wheels are all cracked now. So I am thinking of using resin wheels instead of the kit rubber ones. I checked and learnt that Contact Resine makes such a wheel set. Do you guys have any idea if the set is still in production and where could I buy a set or two ? Regards, Douglas
  5. Would this Kim be the same one of Pontos Model which produced aftermarket parts for warship models ? If yes, then he would be very busy with those model warship parts and thus not responding in Hobby Decal. Damn, my order......... may be we could ask this in the warship forum. Regards, Douglas
  6. Thank you TANK ! You got it right on ! I better bookmark the web page you refer to for my next search. Regards, Douglas
  7. Hi guys, Having the Hasegawa 1/48 Seaking in my store room for years I suddenly feel that I should have it built. So I am picking up everything again. I have the kit SH-3H, I have the SB Decal Sheet. I want to do the Golden Falcon one because of the beautiful American flag. I tried to find some reference photos online, but, oops, nothing. Not at least a single photo. Do you guys know if the pictures in the decal set for the Seaking BuNo 152121 is accurate ? Or if any one of you have any photo of the real Seaking ? I checked and I found photos of the Black Knights Seaking (BuNo 152711) and
  8. Hi Ken, Thank you very much for the direction. Yes, this is it, though not all of them. I like the light color camo, so, this would make it my choice. Once again, thank you ! Regards, Douglas
  9. Hi guys, Do you know if there is any decal of Venezuela Air Force Su-30MK2 in the scale of 1/32, or 1/48 ? My link My link Regards, Douglas
  10. No no no, it is only the angle. I am as thin as weighted only 50 lbs. Regards, Douglas
  11. The "wing kink" would be a difficult feature to correct in the Trumpeter kit, I think. Weii, I'd be dammmmmm........... the port side....... blue green light..... you got it !! Regards, Douglas
  12. Haha, thanks geedubelyer for the analysis. That is exactly what I wanted to discuss. I am not chasing total accuracy. It is just I have both the Hasegawa 1/48 and Trumpeter 1/32 models at home, and I noticed they are quite different in the wing shape. I think it is good that we know what the real thing is like. Whether we will do it in the model it is another matter. Now it is time for a bottle of beer ! Regards, Douglas
  13. What I meant is that the Trumpeter main wing is of a straight line from wing root to wing tip, where as the Hasegawa main wing bended at a point about two-third from the wing root. It looks to me that the Trumpeter one with a straight line is incorrect, where as the Hasegawa one bended a bit too much. What do you guys think ? Regards, Douglas
  14. Guys, I got mine at a local hobby shop yesterday. Checked the sprues and I noticed something which I don't know if it is just mine or what. The main wings seem to be of an incorrect configuration. Are yours the same ? Comparison Photo Regards, Douglas
  15. Hi Jake, Would you show us some photos of the fit of the Avionix cockpit ? Regards, Douglas
  16. Oh my God ! Thank you Curt for giving me the link. I almost cut the Tamiya fuselage last night. When I held the grinder in my hands, I thought, hey, why not wait for a day or two and see what you experts would help. And here it is, I better use the kit cockpit. Wooo, this is close. Regards, Douglas
  17. Hi guys, Has anyone here actually fitted the Aires cocpit into the Tamiya fuselage ? I checked yesterday night and I am puzzled by how much to be cut at the rear bulkhead on the kit. I hate Aires so much that they never include an instruction for the cut, even a simple sketch, or even some simple words. Regards, Douglas
  18. Hi all, I added plastic strips as reinforcement and fixed the lower half of the wing. Looks okay. Wing Joint Regards, Douglas
  19. Hi all, I managed to thin the kit fuselage and fitted the resin cockpit walls. I had my grinder onto the plastic for a nano seconds too long and melted a small hole of about 2mm diameter. Luckily I managed to seal it and make it good. Here are some photos. Thanks for all your help in the process. Thinning the kit fuselage Regards, Douglas
  20. Roger that Chuck. Hope I could do it right and show you guys some photos. Regards, Douglas
  21. Thanks DonSS3 for the tips. I thinned down the resin cockpit walls by a file (in a bucket of water so the resin particles wouldn't fly)last night. I will grind the kit fuselage tonight. My grinder has a speed control so I think I could do it by the machine. Wish me luck. Regards, Douglas
  22. Hi all, I am about to start building this kit. Looks a very complicated project and thinning the kit fuselage and the resin cockpit would require quite some skill. Would you guys show some photos of your progress. I guess you might have it completed since these years. Regards, Douglas
  23. Without the cooperation of hardware manufacturer his sale won't be that successful. With a stronger machine software manufacturer would have the spare to roll out new fancy software. With that new fancy software the original machine is not capable to run the software smooth, so the people study for a even faster and stronger one, and so the loop continue and continue........ Regards, Douglas
  24. Guys, thanks for the tips. I bought a 1TGB portable hard disk and do the backup onto it. Image backup is done as hundreds of zip files. Strangely that there is no sign of the 90GB vhd file. I deleted the original 90GB vhd file in my D Drive and free the space. Hope I did not screw things up. Regards, Douglas
  25. Hello guys, I found that a Windows Image Backup file is taking up about 90GB of my D Drive (142GB). The file name is 751b72c7-77b4-11dc-adae-806e6f6e6963.vhd in the directory D:\WindowsImageBackup\User\Backup 2011-05-03 035001 The size of the file is 94,479,156KB Do you computer experts know how could I free some space ? Here is the configuration of my computer : Acer Aspire AX1800 HDD 320GB MS Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit SP1 Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5400 @ 2.70GHz, 2.0GB RAM, NIVIDIA GeForce 7100/NVIDIA nForce 630i Regards, Douglas
