  1. Hi Ryan I Had the AMT B-52G and H models in 1/72, for me these two were a Nightmare. First the fusalage comes in four pieces and to get them to fit right you are in for alot of putting and sanding. Then there is the dreaded wing box if you dont modify it the outer wheels will not sit on the ground. It looks like the Buff is in flight so you will have to notch the wing box. The Italeri B-52 is just a rerelease of the AMT KIT with different decals, my advice stay away from these kits, use the tride and true Monogram Buffs. Meteor is releasing a ton of aftermarket stuff to upgrade this kit.

    Hi, What would be the correct colors for a TBF-1C in the Atlantic Theatre.I am using the 1/48 Accurate Miniatures kit. I plan on using Model Master or Tamiya paints, would I go with MM dark gray and flat white or some other shade of grey like Medium Gray or Light Sea Gray. Thanks Rob
  7. Hi Jeff, She looks GREAT. I am also doing ProModeler F-86D right now to. I just got done sanding and primering, I used Tamiya gloss black for my undercoat, did you use Aluminum and dark aluminum for your two NMF finishes. Thanks Rob

  10. Hi Andrew, thanks for the heads up on the color,Ive never did a Smer kit before hope this will go together fairly easy. The one thing I dont like is you have to glue the tail to the fusalage this should have been molded together not seperate,if anyone has done this kit before in 1/48 scale let me know had you made out.   11. Hi Aaron, Iam about to start a 1/48 smer mig-17 what color are you going to use for the cockpit, I heard to use gray but ive seen it done in Soviet interior green or greenish/blue color. Thanks Rob

  15. Thank God for some good news on the Flying Forts from Dave. I agree with everyone,metal landing gear,Cheyenne tail new nose glass, maybe now I can break out my 1/48 B-17G and blow the dust off the box. Lets get this baby going. Rob
