  1. Painting in the cold can work as to the thinner u'er using. As for the MM and testers paints and i use them all the time.I use lighter fluid or lacquer thinner. These thinner dry the paint alittle faster and will not cause anything as to drying and curing the paint.High PSI from the compressor u'er using should come down to about 20-25 PSI.U do not want the paint to come to fast or it will puddle or run.Low PSI works alot better in cold.U might want to buy or if u have small space heater as to warming up the area u'er painting in. And prep work as to getting the model ready for paint is another

  6. Been thinking on this as to seeing a build on google as to someone doing a what if in 32nd scale with the A model eagle. The problem is that the build i found can not be found anymore.Or does someone have any intel as to a site or the build it'self. And this idea is as to the 15 being developed early on in the 70's.Larry
  7. Considering as to two 17's i have and the belle that got messed up thee years ago ans ti having two B-24's that are also vacs in 32nd.My space is small for showing them.Have them in a closet where i thought they were safe.Flew R/C laong time ago.But it got very costly as to crashes and etc.But still have a love for R/C.Larry
  8. As to posting the 17's i have in 32nd.Will be awhile.Have some battle damage and broken parts to fix.But they'll get posted when everything is done. And to those who want to see them. One is a G from ID vacs and the other one is from the Sterling balsawood kit which is OOP.Larry

  12. This happened to me as needing a gun for my beau in 32nd.But a guy i know found one from an armor kit and i woulld check with the armor guys over on tank talk. It's 35th scale. But it's the only game in town.Larry
  13. Using lacquer thinner is the same as using mineral spirits. And i think i know what happened as to the thinner doing what it did. Both of these thinners are about the same. But the spirits has a different type of mixture.I have used both. But the lacquer thinner is better.I even use it to wipe down what i'm getting ready to paint.Or even light fluid.I've been using fluid for over the last 30 plus years and it comes in handy when u can run to the store and get it. But there is no difference as to what type of thinner u use to mix u'er paint. It's what u thin will work for u.Larry
