  1. We heard today that my granddad has Pneumonia on top of everything else.
  2. Thanx Holmes. I give him all your regards and appreciation, he was very touched.
  3. Thanx for the Prayer's and thoughts guys, they are appreciated. Well today we went to see him, and his skin now has a Yellow tinge to it, and he has a Saline drip i his arm, and a tube from his nose into his Stomach. He also has a Cathita fitted.
  4. Guys and Gals. My granddad is seriously ill in the Hospital, and it doesn't look good. As you may know he's an old Soldier, having fought in WW2, (until a POW), and in Korea. So please pray for an old and proud Soldier.
  5. Hey no problem! That illustration is from Squadron/Signals DUKW in action.
  6. This is the 1/72 Fine Molds kit, and is now complete, and in my collection.
  7. That's looking good. Much beyond my plastic tickling abilities though.
  8. These And this. My two favourite jets the Eurofighter Typhoon, and the mighty Tomcat.
  9. This is the excellent Fine Molds kit. And I built Red 3, as every model I see of the X-Wing is Luke's Red 5.
  10. Me I'm turned 39 in June. I was in manufacturing for 15 years, then I was made redundant. And now spend my days doing research, and tickling plastic.
  11. Ok here's my latest off the bench. This is Airfix's new Hawk T.2 I started this on Saturday, and finished it today. And I added the gas bags under the wings 1. coz I wanted to and 2. coz it's my model. I will build another one as an Indian Air Force one.
  12. Ok guys it's finished. Check it out here
  13. Well it's done. I really enjoyed this kit. I think the added extra's by me have enhanced it a little. Anyway on with the pics. Thanx for looking. Cheers Daz
  14. Guys I'm so close to the finish with this build. Now IIRC wasn't Red 3 Wedge's ride? And I'm confused as to what Astromech Droid it would had had. (That'll teach me for not doing Red 5 lol)
  15. Some more Chopper's from me. All these were taken at Biggin Hill last month.
  16. Right another update. I've painted the landing gear, and under coated the ladder as this will be Red and the standing pilot, as he will be Orange and White. And engines painted and fitted to the wings.
  17. Right another action packed update. And it's looking like an X-Wing. The wings are now mounted into the fuselage, and the rear plate is on the rear of the fuselage. I've also added all the fixtures to the wings. I will add tge engines once I've painted the rear fuselage. So not much more to go now.
  18. Thanx I'm enjoying as this model as it has a small piece of me in it.
  19. Ok some more on the T-65, and I've started to add a bit of detail to the engines.
  20. Thanx guys I was looking for that used worn look. I hope I pulled it off.
  21. Ok decals are now on. I've used some decals for Red 5 on my Red 3, just coz I want to! I've still gotta add another coat of paint before I bring the whole thing together.
  22. And some more. Targeting computer in place. And weathered the top of the IP shroud. The engine detail. And the IP is from an old F-14 that was scrapped after falling off a shelf.
  23. I wasn't going to do a W.I.P. as it's nearly finished, but I just wanted to show what extra's I've added to the cockpit and engine areas. I added wiring to all the boxes in the cockpit, and engine from some copper wire "borrowed" from my old workplace. The bigger pipes on the engines are from some scrap plastic. I also added seatbelts to the seat as I will be displaying it with the canopy open.
  24. Sting is correct that cat never flew but was used for training fire crews IIRC.
