  1. Door has a seal, so it is better to paint is before, because paint will go badly inside paper...like in a sponge. I use white glue for wood-floor http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y170/njak...er-frelon34.jpg So just put some glue on the back side of the paper pannel. Glue must be thick, but not too thick... try not to put glue on the printed paper side (as I doo) print does'nt like water. and place the pannel (here on the door, it's much easier for a roof pannel) Here it is very important : you have too wait that the thick glue between the paper and the door dries. But not too
  2. So let's start, I will try not to show something too long The last pannel I have to cover is the emmergency exit door on the left side This door is behind the orange bags you see here through a window so you can imagine there will not be a lot to see at the end Here is the door with the pinmarks... I first check how it should look like There is a marking on this door : "Issus de secours" (emergency exit) This time, I printed the pannel with the marking Printer is a normal HP inkjet and paper is the normal 80 g white paper. Nothing special. I used Photoshop to add the

  10. Well, it is a variant of Pierre Greuters foil work First, all floor panel are placed in aluminium foil then with a rond tip, the surface of the aluminium foil was hollowed, then it was painted with the floor colour then it was covered wir Klir (future) this gives a very solide surface then I take a grid 600 sandpaper and roughend all the surface untill it is matt then I grid more with the same sandpaper until the top surface of aluminium foil bekomme visible in the walking areas and in front off the doors. I'm happy you enjoyed it Norbert

  12. Hello I said Super-Frelon SAR so there are some specific equipments inside I come closer to todays progress status with some cargo floor pictures : one more The orange bags on the left (2 sets of 2 bags) are just behind the right helicopter entrance These are inflatable boats On the left side (so in front of the right entrance door) there is a TRANSACO flotable stretcher Up to today, no PU, no fotoetche, only paper, plastic rod, telephone wire, plastic rod.... the old art :) :D Hope you like them Norbert

  14. Hello Frederick I just printed black holes, made from a pic of the interior cover Interior cover in following link Super-frelon in FFSMC web page here is the print prints are cut in pieces according to inside fabric panels, and panel sides are drawn, then glued with white glue (thick) and before it totaly dries, paper is pushed down at the angles and sides to give the 3D impression. At the end, I just aded carefuly some pastel. Norbert
  15. Some more progress, things going forward prepairing the interiors making the inside wallcovers Covers are printed paper glued with white glue more to come later  Norbert
  16. Here are 3 more pics to show how the fitting will be. Surface details are huge, but plastic thickness is so thin that there are centimeters gap http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y170/njak...per-frelon5.jpg something more, on the left side, windows of the inner part are not in front of the outside fuselage :o http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y170/njak...per-frelon4.jpg All things which are better to know before, because if you follow the notice, you have to built the two fuselage halves separately and then try to get all glued together More to come later Norbert
